Paris Paralympics LIVE: After a medal-less opening day at the Paris Paralympics, India will hope to get the ball rolling on the second day. Holding large chunk of the responsibility will be Tokyo 2020 gold medallists Avani Lekhara and Manish Narwal. Lekhara will compete in Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 and Narwal in Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 Qualification. Before any medal questions, though, come the qualifications.
Para-Badminton group-stage will continue with Manasi Joshi in must-win territory after her fighting loss on Thursday. Para-shuttler Krishna Nagar will begin his title defence in Men’s Singles SH6.
India’s largest chunk of contingent comes in athletics and that is also on the cards with three medal events on schedule.
